步入5月，哈里王子和梅根的婚礼也进入了紧张的倒计时~

不仅英国王室成员们跟着忙前忙后，威廉王子还承包了婚礼伴郎的身份，全英国似乎都备好了小马扎等着扮演围观群众啦（戳回顾）~

为了以最佳的状态嫁入王室，准新娘梅根可是狠下了一番功夫呢~据英国《每日邮报》报道，准王妃梅根老早就开始恶补王室礼仪啦~

今天咱就来看看，要达到凯特王妃滴标准，梅根需要掌握哪些王室礼仪~

王室成员不能跷二郎腿：这一点凯特王妃做得很好：这种双膝并拢、脚踝并拢的斜腿坐姿还能有效避免走光~

Royalty should not cross their legs: something that the Duchess of Cambridge has mastered. Catherine is usually seen with her legs at one angle with a slight slant, keeping her knees and ankles together. 

而女王奶奶以及卡米拉则更喜欢这种双膝并拢，脚踝一前一后的坐姿~

The Queen and Duchess of Cornwall usually tuck one ankle behind the other, keeping their knees together when seated.

跷二郎腿这个问题显然是经过“提点”了，因为后来梅根的坐姿也是相当标准了呢~

嫁入英国王室后，梅根要谨记一点：不能走在哈里王子前面，官方活动中非王室血统人士不能和王室血统者并排走，要走在其后面。

Once she marries into the Royal Family she will need to remember it is her future husband who walks ahead. Non-blood royalty should always be one or two steps (or more) behind blood royalty when on official engagements.

The pre-(second)-marriage Meghan will need to tweak her royal wardrobe. Her penchant for ripped and distressed jeans will need to be abandoned… unless she wishes to distress the royal household.

Meghan will undoubtedly have given fans the chance for a quick selfie in her previous life, but thankfully she has already realised that royalty do not do selfies.

The rule was established to encourage people to make eye contact and make conversation with royals, instead of turning their backs to them (a huge no-no) to take a selfie.

The rule stems from a fear that autographs will lead people to forge their signatures, which is why they're only allowed to sign royal documents and, sometimes, visitors' books

When Meghan greeted press photographers on the day the engagement was announced Meghan’s wave was somewhat clam-like, with her fingers rapidly opening and closing against her palm.

She will need to learn the more restrained (and easier on the hand) ‘Windsor wave’, which is much more subtle and less tiring. Her arm should extend upwards at a right angle and the hand then moves from side to side in gentle right-left motions.

入门级的规矩估计梅根已经知道啦~第一声称呼肯定是“女王陛下”（ Your Majesty），后面就可以改为“Ma’am”了。

Meghan will probably have already learned that The Queen is addressed as ‘Your Majesty’ when you first see her and then, afterwards, as ‘Ma’am’.

礼仪专家William Hanson表示，虽然哈里王子会亲切地称呼女王为“奶奶”，但建议梅根还是按照上面的规矩称呼“Your Majesty”或“Ma’am”。

Prince Harry refers to his grandmother as ‘Granny’ but I would suggest to Meghan that she sticks to the more formal ‘Your Majesty’ and ‘Ma’am’. 

至于其他王室成员，包括菲利普亲王、查尔斯王储和卡米拉，以及威廉凯特夫妇，可以称呼“Your Royal Highness”和“Sir” / “Ma’am”就可以了。

As for all other members of the Royal Family, including the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are called ‘Your Royal Highness’ and then ‘Sir’ or ‘Ma’am’ (to rhyme with jam), accordingly.

对那些年长的王室成员，梅根可能还要遵照传统称呼他们为“Your Royal Highness”，但年轻的就可以叫名字啦~

For older members of the family she will probably stick to protocol and call them Your Royal Highness, but for people such as William and Catherine, Beatrice and Eugenie, I suspect she will use their Christian names.

目前梅根还是美国公民，所以见到王室成员还不必行屈膝礼。但成为英国公民后就不一样啦，见到女王或其他资深王室成员时还是要行屈膝礼的。

Currently, Meghan is an American citizen and so when she meets any member of the royal family she will not need to curtsey. When she becomes a UK citizen she will, however, need to start curtseying when she greets The Queen and other senior members of the royal family.

大体上来说呢，和哈里王子在一起的时候，梅根的级别是和哈里王子一样哒~虽然按规矩她需要向乔治小王子和夏洛特小公主行屈膝礼，但礼仪专家William Hanson觉得这大概会等到他们到了法定年龄以后。

In essence, Meghan will only take her future husband’s position on the pecking order (formerly called ‘order of precedence’) when with him. Although technically she would have to curtsey to Prince George and Princess Charlotte I suspect she won’t… not until they come of age, anyway.

举个例子~如果梅根自己一个人在肯辛顿宫的走廊上散步，她需要向所有王室血统成员行屈膝礼。

When she is walking down a corridor at Kensington Palace on her own, she will need to curtsey to all ‘blood’ members of the Royal Family.

BUT！如果婚后老公哈里王子也在场的话，那就向更资深滴王室成员行礼就好啦~（顺序按照升序依次是新出生的路易小王子、夏洛特小公主、乔治小王子、凯特王妃、威廉王子、卡米拉、查尔斯王储、菲利普亲王、女王）

When she is walking down a corridor at KP with Prince Harry (once married) she will only have to curtsey to more senior members of the British royal family. (In ascending order: Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte, Prince George, Duchess of Cambridge, Duke of Cambridge, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince of Wales, Duke of Edinburgh, The Queen).

The Duchess of Cambridge may be the future queen, but she has discovered that there are several women in the Royal family to whom she must show reverence. The Queen updated the Order of Precedence in the Royal Household to take into account the Duke of Cambridge’s wife. 

The new rules of Court make it clear that the former Kate Middleton, when she is not accompanied by Prince William, must curtsy to the "blood princesses", the Princess Royal, Princess Alexandra, and the daughters of the Duke of York, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. 

When William is with her, Kate does not need to bend the knee to either of them, but she must curtsy to the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.

和女王一起用餐时，无论是国宴还是家庭聚餐，梅根需要谨记：不能先于女王开始用餐。

When dining with The Queen, either at state banquets or more intimate family meals, Meghan will need to remember that she should not start eating before Her Majesty.

此外，还需要留意观察女王的用餐速度（通常比较快）：女王用完餐时，其他人都不能继续用餐——哪怕盘子里还有食物也要停止用餐。

She should also keep watching the speed of The Queen’s eating (usually very quick) as she should stop eating when The Queen stops eating… even if she still has food left on her plate.

No one should start eating before the Monarch and no one should carry on eating after the Monarch has finished.

Markle's social media, including her Twitter and Instagram, have been inactive for months. As you might expect, she will no longer be able to use her own personal accounts.

Instead, like Prince Harry, William, and Kate Middleton, she will use the family's Kensington Royal account to share updates on her life and royal happenings.

According to sources for OK! magazine, Royal Family members are prohibited from wearing dark and colored nail polish, meaning that they stick with skin-tone shades.

Given that Markle and Prince Harry already almost broke this rule when they held hands during their engagement announcement, Meier predicts that this rule will slowly be fizzled out.
