据Mtime时光网26日报道，北美影市上周五（24日）迪士尼发行、皮克斯制作的动画电影《寻梦环游记》公映第三天收入票房1860万美元，轻松拿下当日票房冠军。因为恰逢感恩节，《寻梦环游记》在11月22日公映，上映三天，影片累计票房为4077万美元。

据中国新闻网报道，该片在中国上映首个周末票房报收1.18亿人民币，仅次于2016年上映的《疯狂动物城》(Zootopia，1.55亿)，创下了迪士尼及皮克斯动画在中国首周票房第二高纪录。

不但片好看，票房高，这部爆款电影如今备受关注，很多影评人预测它极有可能获得明年的奥斯卡最佳动画长片大奖。

《寻梦环游记》的背景设置在墨西哥的亡灵节。片中既有亡灵世界奇幻绚丽，光怪陆离，全片还贯穿着满满的墨西哥风情。

每年11月1日至2日的亡灵节（Day of the Dead）是墨西哥的传统节日。节日期间，民众在夜晚前往墓地，用鲜花和蜡烛等装饰亲人的坟墓，迎接重返人间的先祖的灵魂。这不是一个哀悼的节日，而是亲人的重聚，亲情的延续。他们认为，在这一天中，死去的亲人会回到人间，跨越生死的界限，与在世的人重聚。

Day of the Dead is a Catholic holiday to remember deceased ancestors in Mexico, Brazil, and US's Hispanic communities.

It's celebrated on November 1 and November 2. People believe that on these days, the souls of the dead follow the smell of marigolds and return to the earth to spend time with their relatives.

In Mexico, the day is celebrated joyfully. The emphasis is on celebrating and honouring the lives of the deceased, rather than fearing evil spirits.

Families clean and decorate graves with wreaths of orange marigolds. Some families build altars in their homes decorated with pictures of the dead, flowers, and candles. They spend time around the altar praying and telling stories about the dead.

The film （Coco） takes place in Mexico and tracks the journey of a fully fleshed 12-year-old named Miguel, who is consumed with his family’s generations-long ban on music. This is particularly vexing to the boy since his dream is to be become a great musician like the late Ernesto de la Cruz.

Miguel hails from a village named for Santa Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians, and modeled by Pixar on towns in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. A mystical, magical chain of events leads Miguel to the skeleton-populated Land of the Dead, and accompanied by a street-wise vagabond named Hector, he tests his musical prowess and unravels a family mystery he never knew existed.

The movie will receive an extended international rollout, with France, Germany and Spain up next.

The Let It Go of the bunch is Remember Me, a track by the Frozen songwriting team that gets reprised in various ways by different characters yet feels fresh every time.
